Kevennetty sähkösuunnittelun toimintamalli urakoitsijavalintaa varten rinnakkaisen suunnittelun ja toteutuksen hankkeissa
(2022)
In this thesis, the lightened electrical design operating model developed by Granlund Oy was investigated, and its applicability to parallel design and execution project forms. In addition, the current way of producing electrical plans for a project of parallel planning and execution was investigated in this thesis. Moreover, the factors causing loss in the current operating model were studied, as well as the changes and new operating methods the new model requires in the design work. With the help of the new operating model, it should be possible to evaluate the target or fixed price of the construction site's building services, as well as to commit the suppliers and contractors to the project without preliminary implementation plans that are carried out to a great extent in the early stages. The subjects of the study were electrical designers and electrical contractors participating in Granlund Oy's pilot project. A qualitative research method was chosen as the research method. The research material was collected through theme interviews and observation. A material-based content analysis was performed for the research material. The results of the thesis showed that the current operating model, which is generally used to produce electrical plans in parallel planning and execution projects, contains work phases that produce significant losses. By applying a new lightened operating model, the loss of planning work can be essentially reduced. The application of the lightened operating model requires the introduction of new presentation methods in planning and the planning of systems in accordance with the progress of block construction. Existing design data should be utilized in new projects so that cost information can be brought into the construction project with as little work as possible and as early as possible. Further research topics for this thesis could be, how the existing planning data can be effectively utilized in MEP design, and how the introduction of a lightened model in the construction industry could be promoted....
